First, we will introduce parallel transmission. This method supports 2-bit, 4-bit, and 10-bit parallel transmission, with the driver featuring a parallel interface that allows data to be transmitted in parallel.

Secondly, now that we’ve discussed the transmission method, let’s turn to the drivers. Each driver has two signal paths: one at the input and one at the output. The drivers in the previous column feed their outputs to the inputs of the next column. Both functions serve to ensure that the input signal is properly propagated. When the buffer is full, the driver stops accepting new data and begins transmitting the stored signal; this process can be initiated automatically or triggered by the control circuitry.

Third, having discussed parallel transmission, we will now turn to serial data transmission, a common driving configuration for single-bit serial interfaces. In this mode, the driver registers are connected in series, and the data is shifted through a serial shift register under the control of clock pulses.
